Your first session is a safe, supportive space to share your story and explore your goals. We’ll discuss your history, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve, ensuring you feel seen and understood. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan with strategies tailored to your unique needs, giving you a clear path forward and the confidence that you’re not navigating it alone.

What do you feel are your greatest strengths as a provider?

I create a judgment-free, supportive space where you can feel at ease and empowered to embrace growth and positive change. With compassion and a personalized approach, I tailor our work to your unique history, challenges, and goals. Together, we’ll focus on practical, solution-oriented strategies that build confidence, resilience, and clarity, guiding you toward lasting change and a renewed sense of purpose.

Who would NOT be a good fit for your practice?

Therapy with me is most effective for individuals ready to explore deeper solutions, embrace change, and lean into the discomfort of trying new strategies. If you’re primarily seeking a space to vent without addressing underlying challenges or are looking for quick, “magic pill” solutions, my approach may not align with your expectations. Growth takes time, patience, and a commitment to working through unfamiliar or uncomfortable experiences.

Additionally, regular participation is essential for meaningful progress. If current life circumstances, such as health, work, or other responsibilities, make it difficult to prioritize therapy, it might be better to begin when you can fully commit. My goal is to work with individuals who are ready to actively engage in the process, supporting them in building lasting change and a more fulfilling life.

What does successful treatment completion look like for your clients?

Successful treatment means you’ve gained the freedom and confidence to move forward in life without being held back by the challenges that brought you to therapy. For trauma, it looks like no longer feeling stuck in the past—old memories no longer define or block you in your current life. For anxiety, it’s the ability to use tools effectively in daily situations, helping you navigate challenges with a newfound sense of calm and control.

In addressing depression, success means re-engaging with life, rediscovering joy, and reconnecting with the things that matter most to you. For grief, it’s about moving forward while honoring your loss, grieving in a healthy and healing way. When working on self-esteem, success looks like reclaiming your life, embracing your worth, and living authentically with confidence. Each journey is unique, but the goal is always to empower you to live with purpose and resilience.

Between sessions, I encourage clients to begin integrating the tools and techniques we practice during our time together into their daily lives. There’s no need to worry about being perfect—this is about exploring what works for you and starting to build new habits at your own pace. Unlike many therapists, I don’t assign formal homework or worksheets. Instead, I focus on practical, real-world application of the strategies we develop in session.

When we meet again, we’ll discuss your experiences, reflect on what felt helpful or challenging, and adjust as needed to strengthen your skills. This process allows us to build on your progress week by week, ensuring the tools become meaningful and effective in your everyday life. It’s all about creating sustainable change in a supportive, manageable way.
